Abstract : This article analyzes the common faults of oil depot valves and their possible causes. Based on these factors, the methods of troubleshooting and some preventive measures are given. Strengthening the management of oil depot valve equipment is the key to ensuring safe operation of the depot system and reducing accidents.
1.1 Design and installation of valve equipment Problem 1 Valves are not reasonably selected: Different valves and valves should be selected for different areas and environments. For example, cast iron valves are used in severe cold areas, and no corresponding insulation measures are performed. In addition, if the welding slag and rust are not cleaned in accordance with the regulations prior to the pressure test and leak test of the piping system, scratches, erosion, or squeezing of the sealing surface may occur; if impurities deposit on the bottom of the valve, Will cause the valve to close the problem.
1.3 maintenance and inspection not in place 1 the valve does not perform regular pressure test and cleaning in accordance with the requirements, and the maintenance and repair are not timely enough, which will cause the failure of the valve switch or close the problem; 2 did not do any insulation measures before the arrival of the winter, Also did not remove the water trapped in the valve, resulting in frozen cracks in the valve; 3 in the inspection and maintenance of the valve, must be carried out in accordance with national regulations in the state of no pressure, if the wrong pressure to operate, not only damage the valve The equipment causes the valve to malfunction, and it may lead to oil running accidents, causing irreparable damage.
2 Common Valve Faults and Their Remedies Valve faults can be classified into three major categories: external leakage, internal leakage, and valve stem jamming. The following will be analyzed one by one.
2.1 External Leakage Problems The external leakage of the valve is relatively easy to detect. It can be judged by some intuitive methods. This leakage generally occurs in the flange, valve body, valve cover, filler and other parts. See Table 1 for causes and remedies for external leakage of the valve.
2.2 Internal Leakage Problem Internal leakage is different from external leakage, and the internal and internal leakage of the valve are invisible. Therefore, the hidden dangers and damages caused by it have not received sufficient attention. However, its hidden dangers are stronger. One of them can lead to mixing oil, running oil, and polluting the environment. Second, it is not easy to be found after leakage, making the oil tank a dangerous place. The third is when making the oil unloading system. A certain air resistance will affect the efficiency of oil unloading; the fourth reason is that infiltration and internal hemorrhoids are likely to cause fire and cause explosions. The jamming of the valve stem makes the valve not open or closed. Valve stem jam resistance and exclusion methods are shown in Table 3.
3 Conclusion Although the valve is small, it plays an irreplaceable role in all aspects of our company's system. A reasonable use of operation and maintenance can ensure the smooth operation of production. Strengthening management can effectively prevent the occurrence of failures, reduce the occurrence of failures, reduce the probability of accidents, and provide the most effective guarantee for the safe operation of the company.
